I'm currently a Procurement Manager for Columbia University Facilities & Operations. I formerly worked as a Strategic Sourcing Analyst for Canon Business Process Services. I have past experience with leadership and technology through running clubs & organizations on campus at SUNY New Paltz, as well as graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and working as a Library Tech Support Student during my time at school.
I am a Notary Public in the State of New York.
In 2017, I heavily participated in Canon Business Process Services' Manhattan, NY Headquarters Relocation. Some tasks include:
Senior Year of College, I worked on a tool that would track in real time which PCs in a given lab would be available, and presented that on a Public-Facing webpage. As a student worker at the library, I asked for this to be implemented. It is currently in use as a tool there. The project is on my GitHub, called pctracker.
Currently, I am a Procurement Manager for Columbia University in the City of New York, working on procurement of Capital Projects for Facilities and Operations.
Formerly, I was a Strategic Sourcing Analyst for Canon Business Process Services, Inc., where I worked primarily on Software as a Service products.
In the past, I've worked as a Tech Support Assistant both as a student and briefly professionally at SUNY New Paltz, where I would assist patrons with day-to-day issues such as: Microsoft Office assistance, Equipment Operation (Copiers, Scanners, etc.), Internet Connectivity issues, and much more; and professionally I would assist staff members, inventory, and image computers.
Additionally, I've interned for KDA Web Technologies, where I assisted writing code for Wordpress plugins and Salesforce.
Further back, I was a File Clerk for a local Car Dealership, and worked as a Cashier for both the A&P and BJ's Wholesale Club.
Currently pursuing a Masters in Technology Management from Columbia University.
Graduated from SUNY New Paltz in May 2015 with a Bachelor's in Computer Science.
At SUNY New Paltz, I was President of the Computer Science Club, Treasurer of the Asian and Pacific Islander Student Alliance, and sat as an Associate Justice on the Student Association Judicial Board
I presented at SUNYLA 2015 (SUNY Librarians Association) on my PC Tracker project, which enabled Patrons to view the available PCs via a public-facing web interface. Additionally, while at college, I participated in the IBM Mainframe Challenge (2013 & 2014), where I was challeneged to go into the IBM zOS Mainframe and complete a list of challeges with writing code in SQL and COBOL.
